DCC: B4 The Lost City Part 6: New Junkie Friends, Indiana Jones Traps, and Man-Hating Swords

The group began the session holed up in the ex-zombie room. After some healing (and a little more disapproval) they all felt ready to continue. Exiting, they ran into three drugged out members of the Three-Face Cult. After a brief, disconnected conversation the party agreed to grow by three more, as one claimed to be a thief (which this group of delvers surely lacked). {Damn, I forgot to tell Jason his guys were albino's with infravision and serious negatives if they ever get to see the sun!}
The next room they tried held a TPK monster - eight attacks with paralyzing tentacles! It froze half the party in the first turn, but then revealed its weakness - it couldn't take a punch. 

While trying to un-paralyze half of the party, a buzzing sound and four Cynidiceans (albino drug addicts) showed up belonging to the Bumble Bee Cult.
Yes, Cynidiceans continue to show they are the weirdest humans eveh.
Anyway, the Bee people offered sips of healing honey, which woke up the paralyzed characters - but they could only take one sip. One of the Three-faced cultist decided to take two...which made the Bee Cultists go berserk and attack...but they really weren't that good at fighting and were killed and the party kept two of the jars of healing honey.

The group moved down the long corridor and opened a door to a Lady's Burial chamber...and released an Indian Jones style bolder trap...but the boulder moved slow enough that half the party jumped into the room, the other half wandered around a bit.  

Just as the party was coming back together, two giant Tuatara lizards (a bumpy mix of a wingless dragon and a toad came up behind the rear-most party members.  
These two were vicious and it was a long fight that killed a few characters - who all got crazy lucky and succeeded after getting rolled over. But this group will long remember Scratch-Eye and his mate!!!

After the two lizards the rest was a breeze - giant rats, a squad of skeletons and a pair of white apes. One of the cultist friends was killed, even as the remaining two realized that this MIGHT not be a dream. Oh and they found She-Ra, the man hating sword...which may or may not be turning Cletus the Space Cowboy into a woman. 

With this level cleared, the group made their way to the ladder down that they had discovered two sessions ago, to head to the next Tier.

House of Dust and Ash Part I of the Season Finale: False Redemption Surviving their release of the Dei-Phage (demon lord), activation of the Pax Machiana, the ravaging of Kephistron Altis, melting of the Most Holy Gilded Cathedral of Baraspine, and the discovery that the “Pope” of the Callaxian Church is, in fact, a heretic…well, let’s say our Murder Hobos have a “mixed” reputation…(although Drustos seems to have made out well enough…) It has been a month since and the Acolytes are abruptly ordered off planet.  As the adventure begins the Player Characters are transferred temporarily into the service of a shadowy and notorious figure in the Holy Ordos, Inquisitor Lady Oriantha Rathbone, on the bleak and poisonous industrialized hive world of Solomon. There is a trip on the Lamentations of the Flame Princess which allows some new artificial limb work. Emirokol Was Framed!

Two sessions, rolled into one report! Session 1: Flying Apes and a Door of Despair Kathy as Tina the Chaotic Thief and Kilcia the Albino Cleric of Mardua and Katilia the Dwarf John as Badger the Wizard and Amar the Dsert Warrior Ben as Renna the Elf and Emma the Cleric The group was on a shoppinmg trip to look for a new market street in Punjar. They needed a break (from the guilt) of releasing a random zombie apocolypse on Punjar every couple of weeks. Anyway, as they got close to the new shopping area, they heard cries of pain and spotted a bearded man in black (Emerikol the Chaotic it turns out) riding down the street on a demon horse randomly killing passers by.  And calling on his winged gorhellas to kill witnesses. The patry generally ended up fighting gorhellas...except for Amar who got a good cut on the wizard before he escaped.
