DCC B4 The Lost City: Down the Hole

 The party ended last session at a metal ladder leading to the fifth level of the ziggurat. They already knew that there was a "city" below, but not too sure how far away (as the party members who were citizens of the city were also 'shroom junkies.

Going down the ladder left them in a 10x10 room with nothing of interest. Gathering their wits, they soon found a secret door and passed through into what looked like a bedroom. Badger was attracted to a white cloak which had a spirit try to possess him, Badger (experienced Chaotic wizard and born on the plane of Law) resisted, but bargained with the spirit. In exchange for some powers, Badger would see to the end of an "evil" cleric somewhere in this level. Deal! Now Badger has the powers/spells of a Nuetral cleric - which he ain't.

The next few rooms had giant pythons, statue warrior guardians, and gargoyles - all of which were challenges, but not enough to stop the party. After the gargoyles were slain, the party decided to rest and recoup before pushing on..they guessed that there was worse to come...they are right!

House of Dust and Ash Part I of the Season Finale: False Redemption Surviving their release of the Dei-Phage (demon lord), activation of the Pax Machiana, the ravaging of Kephistron Altis, melting of the Most Holy Gilded Cathedral of Baraspine, and the discovery that the “Pope” of the Callaxian Church is, in fact, a heretic…well, let’s say our Murder Hobos have a “mixed” reputation…(although Drustos seems to have made out well enough…) It has been a month since and the Acolytes are abruptly ordered off planet.  As the adventure begins the Player Characters are transferred temporarily into the service of a shadowy and notorious figure in the Holy Ordos, Inquisitor Lady Oriantha Rathbone, on the bleak and poisonous industrialized hive world of Solomon. There is a trip on the Lamentations of the Flame Princess which allows some new artificial limb work. Littlus replaces his pipe-like robotic leg (courtesy the Dei-Phage) with the “Major Award” leg from Christmas Story…fish...

Emirokol Was Framed!

Two sessions, rolled into one report! Session 1: Flying Apes and a Door of Despair Kathy as Tina the Chaotic Thief and Kilcia the Albino Cleric of Mardua and Katilia the Dwarf John as Badger the Wizard and Amar the Dsert Warrior Ben as Renna the Elf and Emma the Cleric The group was on a shoppinmg trip to look for a new market street in Punjar. They needed a break (from the guilt) of releasing a random zombie apocolypse on Punjar every couple of weeks. Anyway, as they got close to the new shopping area, they heard cries of pain and spotted a bearded man in black (Emerikol the Chaotic it turns out) riding down the street on a demon horse randomly killing passers by.  And calling on his winged gorhellas to kill witnesses. The patry generally ended up fighting gorhellas...except for Amar who got a good cut on the wizard before he escaped.
