The party immediately heard the large guard dogs barking below the ridge and, looking back,  The ridgeline ran for two mile, Kai spotted four of the monks bounding up the mountain mystic levitation style, about 30' up a leap!  Despite this, the party was able to stay ahead of the monks for two miles, until descending from the mountain. Cast: Mr. Phillips (John) - Engineer (retired) Max Webber (Wyatt) - Spy Siomon Gallach (Nick) - Diplomat Ontario Johnson (Alex) - Desert Explorer Sgt Cecil Atwood (Mike) - Constable Nora St. Dennis (Kathy) - Adventuress Kai (Nate) - Co-Pilot Tasked by the last Atlantean to destroy a radio antenna at the Monastery of the Blue Hat monks, the group sets off through the mountains of Tibet escorted by nomad Tibetan allies and the 13 year old boy Dawa (Badger). Travel through the mountains is slow, cold and, occasionally, dangerous. Especially for old engineers developing saddle sores. The third night out, the watch is lucky to see three apparitions sneaking towards camp. With thin necks, distended bellies, claws and lamprey-like mouths, the nomads cry these are the Hungry Ghosts! Fortunately, the Hungry Ghosts are still pretty susceptible to lead! And the two magic weapons the party has! Little harm done, other than Nora freaking out a little and then developing an unhealthy ...

DCC: The Lost City - A New World (to destroy)

Cast: John as Badger II, the boy Wizard and Amar the Cynidicean Wyatt as Avery, Accidental Destroyer of Worlds, Foxy the Werefox and Ederik the Dog Kathy as Katilia the Dwarf, Kilcia the Cleric of Madarua, and Kiya the Halfling Nate as Muj the Gambler/Thief and Raupar the Soldier/Elf The group decided to stock up in the Lost City and make their way out of the desert.  Backtracking through the ziggurat, the party made their way all the way back to the entrance unhindered by drunken owlbears, only to be attacked at the exit by a giant ferret! A tough customer, it was brought down by a magic swords cone of fire (along with a couple zero levels). Rolled over all was well, and the party left the Lost City behind... The desert was a rough trip - nothing but sun, sand and rocks. The Cynideans were aghast at the light, but loved the stars which actually enhanced their vision. On the third day Kilcea made a feast of food and water and so all were ready when they encountered a caravan. Unfor...

DCC The Lost City: The Lost City

Cast: John as Badger II, the boy Wizard and Amar the Cynidicean Wyatt as Avery, Accidental Destroyer of Worlds, Foxy the Werefox and Ederik the Dog Kathy as Katilia the Dwarf, Kilcia the Cleric of Madarua, and Kiya the Halfling Nate as Muj the Gambler and Raj the Noble The group started the evening with a knock on the door of their temporary lair - outside was Muj the Gambler and Rajour the Noble, both coming off of a mushroom induced high and unsure where they were. Inspired by Badger, the group sought out the evil priest that had killed the other evil priest that Badger possessed...yeah, thinking too much about this will make your head hurt. After the death (and "roll-over") of Muj in a crushing wall trap, the party found a gambling den and did not kill everyone and take their loot...but they did try to gamble - and lost 10 copper pieces. Meanwhile, Badger found a secret door, opened it and found the priest he NEEDED to kill. The fight ensued and good targeting lead to one ...

Mr. Phillips (John) - Engineer (retired) Max Webber (Wyatt) - Spy Siomon Gallach (Nick) - Diplomat Ontario Johnson (Alex) - Desert Explorer Sgt Cecil Atwood (Mike) - Constable and introducing Nora St, Dennis (Kathy) - Adventuress NPCs Clifton and Flight CaptainTom DeWitt This episode was less Pulp, more Cthulhu...well...until the end at least. The survivors from the hunt for the Sun of Aten were debriefed by British Intelligence in Cairo, then sent to England to a secret base (in a country mansion) for more debriefing and research on what all of their adventures to date meant. The funny thing to Colonel Norwood ("N") was they knew about the Black Sun Nazi Cultists, but these Nachtwolf people were new to him, as was the Tibetan Blue Robed monk (that Siomon had killed).  The time in England was also spend planning, training, and researching at the unknamed mansion's extensive library.  After much analysis, Colonel N tasked the team with travelling to India and seeing if the...

They already knew that there was a "city" below, but not too sure how far away (as the party members who were citizens of the city were also 'shroom junkies. Going down the ladder left them in a 10x10 room with nothing of interest. Gathering their wits, they soon found a secret door and passed through into what looked like a bedroom. Badger was attracted to a white cloak which had a spirit try to possess him, Badger (experienced Chaotic wizard and born on the plane of Law) resisted, but bargained with the spirit. In exchange for some powers, Badger...
