Shadows of Atlantis: Assault on the Veiled Monastary

Tasked by the last Atlantean to destroy a radio antenna at the Monastery of the Blue Hat monks, the group sets off through the mountains of Tibet escorted by nomad Tibetan allies and the 13 year old boy Dawa (Badger).
Travel through the mountains is slow, cold and, occasionally, dangerous. Especially for old engineers developing saddle sores. The third night out, the watch is lucky to see three apparitions sneaking towards camp. With thin necks, distended bellies, claws and lamprey-like mouths, the nomads cry these are the Hungry Ghosts! Fortunately, the Hungry Ghosts are still pretty susceptible to lead! And the two magic weapons the party has! Little harm done, other than Nora freaking out a little and then developing an unhealthy interest in ghosts. Not to be outdone, SGT Atwood later develops an equally unhealthy interest in magic...after the "lake incident."
After five days travel they reach a "holy" lake. On distant shores, the party can see pilgrims bathing in the ice cold waters. Dawa Badger declares that the party must enter with all of their kit up and over their heads, and they will be hurried to their destination. With some misgivings, all agree and walk into the leake with heavy packs...only to emerge on another shore entirely.
Looking around the party finds themselves completely dry, within a days march of the Veiled (ie Blue Hat) Monastery. The party scouts for a day and night and decides to rappel down a cliff to the antenna, to try to sabotage the antenna, and raid the radio shack. Simon remembers how one of these Blue Monks took a full clip of his Thompson and urges stealth over combat.
The getting in goes well - Nora leads the way down the cliff and attaches ropes for the others. Mr Phillips sets to work on the guy wires for the antenna, while Kai, Nora and Max descend and assault the Radio Shack.  
The two Nachtwolf soldiers within are quickly dispatched through magic knife and magic sword. Max grabs the Nazi code books and Kai opens the radios and pulls the circuits, while Nora has fun smashing vacuum tubes on the floor.
Mission accomplished, the group begins heading back up the mountain. SGT Atwood, who had been on overwatch (ie sniper duty) notes that all of the monks are at a service in the main temple. 
All of the party are up the ropes except for Max and Nora, when a strong wind snaps the guy wires for the antenna (that Mr. P had sabotaged) and the whole array crashes to the courtyard of the monastery.  
As monks scramble out of the temple to see what is going on, Nora and Max get to the top of the cliff and, with Dawa Badger, the whole party runs for the lake back...

Frozen Hell, The Gift of Suss, Part 1

The Clan of Ogg, a primitive group of cave dwellers living on the odd tundra, have sent a party of their bravest hunters, gatherers, and others to investigate a fallen piece of their Sun God Suss. Unfortunately, the Gift has fallen in the Dread Forrest, a distant and foreboding wooded area in a great depression zone. Our (0-level) heroes set out in a straight line for the forest (surprisingly, John is very direct in his tactics). After half a day crossing the hunting lands the party encountered a wounded lion dragging a strange corpse of a red man. To get a closer look, the party fought the lion (losing one in the process) and looked over the red corpse, one took the remains of a silver tunic the strange man wore and all were impressed by the 7 fingered hands. The party continued their journey and camped for the night. Emirokol Was Framed!

Two sessions, rolled into one report! Session 1: Flying Apes and a Door of Despair Kathy as Tina the Chaotic Thief and Kilcia the Albino Cleric of Mardua and Katilia the Dwarf John as Badger the Wizard and Amar the Dsert Warrior Ben as Renna the Elf and Emma the Cleric The group was on a shoppinmg trip to look for a new market street in Punjar. They needed a break (from the guilt) of releasing a random zombie apocolypse on Punjar every couple of weeks. Anyway, as they got close to the new shopping area, they heard cries of pain and spotted a bearded man in black (Emerikol the Chaotic it turns out) riding down the street on a demon horse randomly killing passers by.  And calling on his winged gorhellas to kill witnesses. The patry generally ended up fighting gorhellas...except for Amar who got a good cut on the wizard before he escaped.
