Taking a breath after the big fight with the bandits from last session, the party collected loot and spent a lot of time healing each other. After resetting, they headed out again with Raeburn leading the way. Despite being a human stake goat, Raeburn was well supported by immediate clerical healing (but those near death experiences begin to take their toll on even the best of us...).
The bandit lair seemed to change from a shaped stone walls to a carved cave. Raeburn lead the way into a barracks room with two brothers sitting bored at a table. The party was able to put the two down with their swift attacks (and bad Judge dice rolling). A magical dueling dagger was found and the clerics were able to determine that the weapon had some inherent attack advantage...and something else. {still unknown}
Moving along the party entered another barracks/training room and found themselves confronted by six powerful warriors. The warriors went on the attack and Badger and several others were wounded (some critically) but the warriors had a couple in spider webs and at least one wounded by many (but still not down). At the beginning of the second round the biggest and badest opponent (Borsk) asked to parly. The party veterens quickly agreed. A warrior was sent to fetch the bandit leader (Haledon) and this formidablke worrior soon arrived. A deal was struck, give Haledon 24 hours and he would tell who the villain was behind the tomb robbing, and where to find her. The party agreed, and in a show of trust they offered to have one of Haledon's gang meet them at the Frogomoth Bar.
On the way out, Emyrs the elf detected a secret door. The party decided to keep walking, but agreed if the elf wanted too, they would come back later.
Haledon was both impressed (positive reaction next time you meet - possible ally) and agreed. He also shared that his gang had done the tomb robbing, but at behest of the witch Cadavra.
The next night Bramm, one of the tougher looking bandits and Alexa, a henchwoman, met the party at the Frogoleth. Cadavra was headquartered at a windmill on a hill to the north of the city.  Bramm mentioned that Haledon was moving up in the world and if the party could dispose of Cadavra, he'd consider them allies.
The party decided to take a few more days before going after the witch...need to recover luck, diety approval and health. Kitilia also found a blacksmith (Khalil) to make her a spiked shield.
