Horror on the Orient Express, Ghost Train, Part 2

{This is the third of a new campaign of Horror on the Orient Express}   Cast: John as Prof. Robert Hartford, Curator at The British Museum Kathy as Violet Carol Arey, Dillittant, American EXPAT Marco as Charles Mcgee, Student at London University Mike as Dmitri Feodorovna, refugee Russian noble/ Big Game Hunter Maria as Weiss Voigt, German Engineeress At the end of last session, Charles and the Proffessor had chosen to NOT try the model train and wait to let the others know of their find. After work and class the next day, the whole party met up at the Proffessor's townhome. They charried the train out into the courtyard that evening to give it a try. Proffessor Hartford activated the train and the group watched (holding umbrellas as it was raining) as it went round and round the figure eight. Nothing seemed to be happening, yet the party presisted even while discussing that perhaps this was a dead-end. With the 26th circuit  of the train however, everything chnged.   A shimmering

Fast Times in Oolvanvar

Cast: Kathy as Tammi the Assassin,  Kilcia the Albino Cleric of Mardua and Katilia the Albino Dwarf (and Amar the Desert Warrior) Ben as Renna the Elf and Emma the Pacifist Cleric and Mister Richards the Warrior and Badger the Cat-Snake Wizard John wasn't able to make this session, but I felt we needed to include his PC's as this adventure was paused in stride last session.  The party had been sent by the Ghost-Witch Lifthrasir to rescue (from the Sinistar Syndicate) the kidnapped Woe Hobbit Nikademos. The party had gained access to the Syndicate's headquarters and had paused in the entry room (last session). There were two doors out, one to the west and one to the north. They started by checking out the west door which led to a waiting area...nothing interesting. Guilds, Liquid Swords, and Ghost Quests

Cast: Kathy as Tammi the Assassin,  Kilcia the Albino Cleric of Mardua and Katilia the Albino Dwarf John as Badger the Cat-Snake Wizard and Amar the Desert Warrior Ben as Renna the Elf and Emma the Pacifist Cleric and Mister Richards the Warrior Th party started in Habbib's Tavern when a Mephit appeared on their table and delivered an ultimatum to Badger: face a wizards duel tomorrow at high noon, face certain death in a contract with the Assassin's Guild, or pay his dues at the Wizards Guild. After much discussion of a way out of it (during which time, Wendy the Waitress delivered a secret note to Amar) Badger borrowed some money off of Tanni and paid the Guild, and got a laminated membership card in return (and an shared office!). Amar went outside (looking for love) and found Emirikol! Two sessions, rolled into one report! Session 1: Flying Apes and a Door of Despair Kathy as Tina the Chaotic Thief and Kilcia the Albino Cleric of Mardua and Katilia the Dwarf John as Badger the Wizard and Amar the Dsert Warrior Ben as Renna the Elf and Emma the Cleric The group was on a shoppinmg trip to look for a new market street in Punjar. They needed a break (from the guilt) of releasing a random zombie apocolypse on Punjar every couple of weeks. Anyway, as they got close to the new shopping area, they heard cries of pain and spotted a bearded man in black (Emerikol the Chaotic it turns out) riding down the street on a demon horse randomly killing passers by.  And calling on his winged gorhellas to kill witnesses. The patry generally ended up fighting gorhellas...except for Amar who got a good cut on the wizard before he escaped. Cast: Kurt as 1LT Iwo Novak, Polish Mountain Warfare/Commando Expert/inspiration for James Bond Kathy as Dr. Oydis Skjelvik, Norweigen Physicist/Tesla Acolyte Colton as LT Duncan Ross, RCAF Bush Pilot John as Mr. Phillips, Dutch Engineer, The Man Who Has Seen It All Dr. Runi Strand, Dane Historian and Parapsychologist - a skeptic  CPO Sylvester Murphy, US Navy SP - in way over his head Sergeant Ron "Ferret" Farnsworth, British Army - back for seconds! DCC Scions of Punjar, Part 7: Finale

Cast: Gian as Beltran the Thief and Biddle the Halfling Keith as Raeburn the Thief and Emyrs the Elf Cleric Kathy as Kiya the Albino Halfling, Kitilia the Albino Dwarf, Kilcia the Albino Cleric of Mardua John as Badger the Catsnake Wizard and Amar the Desert Marauder Walter as Hanur the Dwarf and Gildarin the Elf   Ben as Renna the Elf and Emma the Cleric The party started in the windmill (1st floor) figuring out which way to go; down or up. With a consensus of up, Raeburn the Thief and Badger (still slithering on the ceiling from a spider climb spell) headed up the stairs. At the next level was a ladder leading up to a trapdoor 40' above the floor. Badger opened it and blew himself up! (Near death experience 1 of 3 for Badger tonight).Quick, cleric healing!  Characters who looked upstairs found a chair with a scenic view of Punjar and the surrounding fields.
