Dungeon Crawl Classics, The Lost City Part 5

Kathy as Katilia the Dwarf, Kilcia the Cleric of Madarua, and Kiya the Halfling 

The group started at the secret door they had found at the end of last episode and started down the vast hallway they found beyond. First item of interest was a trapdoor that opened to a ladder leading down. Second item of interest was a couple primitive rock baboons charging them with murderous intent! The baboons were quickly dispatched and the group began an evening of exploring rooms.

​In the first room they found, the door had a 2' chewed hole near the bottom, Entering they found a coffin, now nest for a trio of giant shrews. One shrew was killed another fled, but the last shrew...haha...dodged a fumble by Cletus the Space Cowboy - in which his new-found black magical sword Not Stormbringer shattered against the flagstones. A black smoke rose from it and a terrifying voice shouted "Free at last! I Trake the Unbeholden claim you!"

​​The last shrew's eyes glowed an evil dark and it raced from the room.

The party continued their looting. 
​
​A room of VERY creepy Shadows was cleared by Avery and Kilcea's Turn undead. As these guys were immune to non-magic (or Blessed) weapons, they were clearly a Bad News Story avoided. 
​

​A room of bones turned pout to be a big nothing burger, BUT a room of zombies looked like a possible TPK. Surviving the unexpected threat, the party decided to crash, sleep and recover. With Badger barely surviving a roll over, at least one of the K-girls really hurting and the two clerics going up in disapproval, it seemed like a good time to hunker down, sacrifice some counterfeit loot to the Gods of Law and recover.

House of Dust and Ash Part I of the Season Finale: False Redemption Surviving their release of the Dei-Phage (demon lord), activation of the Pax Machiana, the ravaging of Kephistron Altis, melting of the Most Holy Gilded Cathedral of Baraspine, and the discovery that the “Pope” of the Callaxian Church is, in fact, a heretic…well, let’s say our Murder Hobos have a “mixed” reputation…(although Drustos seems to have made out well enough…) It has been a month since and the Acolytes are abruptly ordered off planet.  As the adventure begins the Player Characters are transferred temporarily into the service of a shadowy and notorious figure in the Holy Ordos, Inquisitor Lady Oriantha Rathbone, on the bleak and poisonous industrialized hive world of Solomon. There is a trip on the Lamentations of the Flame Princess which allows some new artificial limb work. Littlus replaces his pipe-like robotic leg (courtesy the Dei-Phage) with the “Major Award” leg from Christmas Story…fish...

Emirokol Was Framed!

Two sessions, rolled into one report! Session 1: Flying Apes and a Door of Despair Kathy as Tina the Chaotic Thief and Kilcia the Albino Cleric of Mardua and Katilia the Dwarf John as Badger the Wizard and Amar the Dsert Warrior Ben as Renna the Elf and Emma the Cleric The group was on a shoppinmg trip to look for a new market street in Punjar. They needed a break (from the guilt) of releasing a random zombie apocolypse on Punjar every couple of weeks. Anyway, as they got close to the new shopping area, they heard cries of pain and spotted a bearded man in black (Emerikol the Chaotic it turns out) riding down the street on a demon horse randomly killing passers by.  And calling on his winged gorhellas to kill witnesses. The patry generally ended up fighting gorhellas...except for Amar who got a good cut on the wizard before he escaped.
