While not normally a wine drinker, I (and my lovely redhead) have fallen for the Barefoot Merlot and Cab-Sav> And at 9.00 at the Class VI, just our style!

World War Cthulhu/Actung Cthulhu Rome: Episode 1

The Cast: John as Mr. Phillips 68 yr old retired Dutch engineer Kathy as Victoria, Proper English collegette with leftist leanings  Nick as Clifton, English test pilot  Wyatt as Max Webber, SIS spy in Vienna (NPC) Giovanni the Italian Hitman ...and introducing... Niccollo "Nicky" Filipi, Insane missing SIS Agent   The party boarded the train in Vienna with a destination of Rome, Italy. They are headed there for two missions; an SIS agent has gone missing and their partner has sent a distress note to Vienna, and there are indications from Erlichmann's notebook that there are hidden Atlantean artifacts wanted by someone in the Nazi hierarchy located in Rome.  This episode was covered in "tradecraft" - the party moving through enemy country and trying to not be noticed. Harvest of Darkness, A Kingdoms of Kalamar Campaign played with Dungeon Crawl Classics

I started my twist in the existing DCC campaign, by putting the campaign in the world of Kenzer's Kalamar, and converting on the fly to DCC...what could go wrong? The Party: Tammi the Tattoo'd Thief Davne the Dwarf Warrior Woman   Magnus the Dejy Tribal Warrior Bentley the very corrupted Wizard Thievin Steven the Resurrected Thief Nerelon the Fae-touched satyr warrior Jaelle the Cleric of the Unseen One The group continued on the task that Baron Westlake had sent you on several adventures ago...namely to travel to the next closest port city (now revealed as Prompeldia) to establish trade relations (after the destruction of Portsmouth). After a tip off from a pair of Dejy (think native American) about people and animals being abducted, the party continued to the small village of Narmaren. The village was pretty primitive; tents and a few wooden shacks, with a single 2 story stone tavern (a former barracks from the Faded Empire). The Faded Empire (actuall...

Dungeon Crawl Classics Funnel - Madazkan's Court

-
Man, do I love a good Funnel. This was a short notice game and we had Valor and Raven L. with four zero level Purple Sorcerer generated peasants each. We had another player who sadly needed to drop.   The party established themselves as the Swarthy Rapscallions Adventure Company in Mustertown. They met Old Soily (proprietor of the Soiled Dove and sought out the Lady for advice before heading to the Sending Stone. I added a few nightmare effects that made it clear that Sender may have its own agenda, and the party soon found themselves deep in the Great Swamp. They did spot the ruined coliseum and headed in a direct line in that direction. Soon they ran into the lowland area with the dead opposuman and the crocodillos...and had their first casualty. For a moment it looked like a crocodillo TPK, but the tide soon turned and the party was rewarded with a little loot, including the Malloc statue.   Travel to the collosium continued and they found themselves searching ...
