Finished painting my US Army (or Marine) and Imperial Chinese artillerymen for the Boxer Rebellion. Pictures due out.

Also realized I need to update the Dark Heresy logs. No game this Friday, but then it will be off to Detroit for me until the next Friday. So maybe I'll catch up while in a hotel room.

Two sessions, rolled into one report! Session 1: Flying Apes and a Door of Despair Kathy as Tina the Chaotic Thief and Kilcia the Albino Cleric of Mardua and Katilia the Dwarf John as Badger the Wizard and Amar the Dsert Warrior Ben as Renna the Elf and Emma the Cleric The group was on a shoppinmg trip to look for a new market street in Punjar. They needed a break (from the guilt) of releasing a random zombie apocolypse on Punjar every couple of weeks. Anyway, as they got close to the new shopping area, they heard cries of pain and spotted a bearded man in black (Emerikol the Chaotic it turns out) riding down the street on a demon horse randomly killing passers by.  And calling on his winged gorhellas to kill witnesses. The patry generally ended up fighting gorhellas...except for Amar who got a good cut on the wizard before he escaped. Sailors on a Starless Sea, in Miniature

Years back, I was at a convention in Biloxi, Mississippi and saw a guy running a massive dungeon crawl with miniatures and an enormous miniature dungeon, using the D&D 3.5 rules, The thing took up maybe ten large tables. Coolest thing ever. And I always wanted to do something like that - although the dungeon and how to build one on an economy escaped me. Fast forward a decade, and I am sitting at mt workbench looking at a Miniature Building Authority castle and some Dwarven Forge dungeon corridors...and I think, hmmm maybe I could run Sailors on a Starless Sea at a miniature convention. In this case, Fall In at Lancaster, PA in early November. Thus a project was started...which I am still nervous about, yet less so after my CCPA gaming group allowed me again to use them as playtesters for a mad scheme... Here are some pictures. Noah Steven's run Sour Springs Holla

When I spotted Noah posting a game on the DCCRPG Google group, set for Thursday night, I was hooked. Past experience with Noah as a Judge was he runs a pretty fast paced and wild game - sold! Noah'd posted either Sour Springs Hollow or another funnel (with a vote on which) - but I could not tell you what that other funnel was - I latched onto the Sour Springs / Chained Coffin adventure - which I've wanted to run or play in for a while. I passed my Luck check and the voting was something like 78% for Sour Springs...winning!
