The group pushed on into the Lair of the Emerald Enchanter and found themselves attacked by Emerald Warriors, who when killed turned into (dead) naked peasants. Pushing on, Katilia and Kilcia were almost killed by a mass of six Emerald Warriors and Foxy ran away. With a little luck the group won out killing the six warriors while taking some serious damage themselves. Since Foxy had disappeared and many were hurt, they were slow to start looking for her (and when they did, they looked in the wrong direction). They found a room with a chair, a brain, a corpse, and a skull - but could not make sense of it all, and moved on.
After a while they found a menagerie of strange animals - jeweled tigers, a large listless snake, and a weird slime thing. Intelligently, they did not let any out of their cages.
In their search for Foxy, they found Badger...and six peasants. The newly freed boy-wizard was uninterested in anything but escape, until someone mentioned that Foxy had found two books - likely owned by the Emerald Enchanter, which motivated the boy wizard to decide looking for Foxy was in his best interest. Taking along the peasants, they followed the trail of the fox...
They found a large temple like room, with a Giant Skull with red eyes...and Foxy's corpse.
As the last peasant entered, bars slammed down locking the party in, and the skull came to life - with two of the bat winged green skulls guarding its flanks! Some well placed hits dented swords, but succeeded in destroyed the big skull, and the tiny ones follows soon after.
Badger settled down to read the books, while the rest searched and found a secret door. The cleric spent, everyone decided to seal the entry ways and rest, heal a bit - then go after the Emerald Enchanter!
